The Vancouver Basketball Pro-Am feature player of the week is Othniel Spence of Academy. As just a sophomore with the SFU Clan, Othniel was the 4th leading scorer on the team averaging nearly 10 points per game in 25 minutes per night behind three Senior starters. Look for Othniel to have a breakout season for the Clan as he will play a bigger leadership and offensive role.

The Clan open their pre-season against Minnesota State Moorhead on November 16th before starting their GNAC season against Western Oregon University on November 29th.

Othniel and Academy are fighting for a playoff spot and will play their final regular season game in Week 08 on Monday September 10th tipping off at 8:00pm at The Richmond Olympic Oval.
