Victory 56 vs UBC 59 (Women’s Division)

From the get-go, both teams brought intensity and pace. Victory was trailing UBC from the beginning, but used their speed and intense defense to keep them in it. At the half, UBC was up by 10 points thanks to their smooth ball movement and offensive execution. In the last 45 seconds, Victory was only down 5, but their efforts were not rewarded, and UBC took the win.

Strathcona Dragons 49 vs Falcons & Friends 44 (Women’s Division)

Falcons started the game hitting some serious 3s, they took an early lead of 8 points, and everything was looking like they were going to come up with their first win of the season. But Strath's tenacity and intensity was too much to keep up with, and in a crazy ending, they were able to take home the win.

Falcons: #1 Shar with 12 points and 5 reb. #10 Kaila with 8 points and 3 steals.

Strath: #15 Emily with 9 points and 5 reb. #5 Kat with 13 points and 2 steals.
